About

Rolfworks is dedicated to the wellness of its Milwaukee clients through the practice and art of Rolfing® Structural Integration. Lynn Cohen, owner of Rolfworks, regards each client as an individual, with a physical and emotional history particular to them. In a collaborative exchange over a series of sessions, clients gain heightened awareness of the ingrained patterns that can prevent optimal freedom of movement. In the comfort and confidentiality of her Shorewood studio, clients are taken through the evolving process that is Rolfing. Each session is designed to take you deeper into your body, into yourself, for a uniquely transformative experience.

Lynn Cohen, Certified Advanced Rolfer™ in Milwaukee, studied at the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration® and the Guild for Structural Integration. A licensed and certified Massage Therapist, Lynn trained at the Institute for Psycho Structural Balancing in Los Angeles and at the Massage School of Santa Monica, CA.

Lynn has a Bachelors of Music from the New England Conservatory, where she majored in Double Bass Performance, and a Masters of Social Work from Simmons College, with which she practiced psychotherapy for several years. She has an MFA in creative writing from Emerson College in Boston, and has written fiction, poetry and for television.  She plays the cello for pure, unadulterated enjoyment.

Lynn has been a Rolfer since 2008. Her diverse background enables her to relate to and work with a variety of clients, who have included professional musicians, dancers, stunt artists, physicians, videographers, directors, chefs, landscapers, yogis, athletes, circus performers, writers, actors, and chiropractors.

Whatever your vocation, Rolfing can bring awareness to how you use your body to accomplish that which you need and love to do.

Through the process of the 10-series, in a collaborative exchange between client and practitioner, and in the sanctity and confidentiality of its studio, Rolfworks aims to provide each client with their own unique transformational experience.
